The urban/rural classification is determined by the Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) data from the US Census. The county of Jackson, Tract Code 0025 is urban according to "Table Of Rural Areas By State." USAC only uses "Table Of Rural Areas By State" in the SLD web site at http://www.universalservice.org/sl/applicants/step04/urban-rural.aspx to determine Rural/Urban classification. The requested discount will be modified to reflect an urban classification. The discount for Pinehurst School District 94 will be modified from 70% to 60%.
